It's not often that you find a piece of software that is of such obvious benefit to so many people but today I came across CameraMouse.

CameraMouse uses your webcam to track your face and thereby control your mouse. It's aimed at people with disabilities which make using a mouse difficult although I think it has the potential to make using a computer easier for everyone.

It's just one example of the many many applications possible with computer vision which we're likely to see over the next 5-10 years.
