How to add a Manufacturer in Admin OpenCart
The guide below will give instruction on how to add a new manufacture from the Admin panel also how to edit and delete.
Allowing you to manually manage your manufactures within the catalog.
Step 1
Once you have login to the Admin panel, on the left hand side click on 'Catalog' this will open up a sub menu.

Step 2
From the sub menu you now need to select 'Manufacture', this will show you all the current manufactures listed.

Step 3
Now you can see all the manufactures listed below, once on this page you need to click on the
, this will now open the 'Add Manufacture' page.


Step 4
On the 'Add Manufacture' page here you will be able to add a new manufacture. You are also able to select a image for the manufacture if you like by simply clicking on the image and selecting your customer image.

Step 5
As an example we have added 'LG'.

Step 6
Once you have entered the details in all you need to do is click the save button
in the top right corner, undo simply click on the undo arrow next to the save button.

Step 7
Once you have updated and saved your changes, you will be able to see the changes made on the main list. Now you manufacture has been added successfully.

Making changes or removing a manufacture
If you would like to make any changes to the any of the manufactures added or remove, please follow the instruction below.
To make changes you simply just need to select the tick box and click the pen on the far right to make changes.


This will bring you back to the same page as earlier where you can make the adjustments as required.

If you would like to remove a manufacture from the list, you can do the following.
From the manufacture list select and tick the line you would like to remove and click on the bin button at the top right corner, this will now remove the manufacture from the list.

Once selected, you can select the bin
to remove from the list.

Now we have run through how to add a new manufacture, make changes and removing them from your catalog in Admin.
This will now allow you to keep on top of your website and have the capability of making changes in the OC Admin panel.
