How to Add a New Return Reason in OpenCart

If you notice a product is being returned for a specific reason on multiple occasions then there is a quick way to add or modify a new or existing ‘Reason for Return’ on the standard OpenCart Returns Page.

1) So where is the Returns on your OpenCart admin? So you click on System > Localization > Returns > Return Reasons.


2) Then go the top right of the Return Reasons and click ‘New’.


3) Once you are on the new Return Reasons, you can type in the new reason such as 'Wrong Size'.


4) Then you can see your new Return Reason in the admin section.


5) This is then also added to your Returns Page on your site (note you may have to clear the cache for it to show up) for your customers to select.
