New VAT Rules Now We Have Left the EU
Now that we have left the EU as part of Brexit, it has been mentioned a few times in the News over the last few years, you will need to alter your VAT statuses to comply with this. This is the Government advice on VAT between the UK and the EU and long story EU countries do not have to pay VAT when buying from a UK company.
Within OpenCart you may find that your store still includes VAT for European countries and therefore this is something that should be updated. This can be done in the OpenCart admin but can be a bit fiddly, so if you'd like us to help then please email us at info@antropy.co.uk.
